New York, New York

I realize I have been a huge slacker about posting lately. The last month has been a whirlwind! Reece recently went on her first BIG trip to NYC for Ben and Kat's wedding. Matt and I were both very excited but very unsure of how Reece would handle the whole thing. She is a very active little girl now and really likes to get down and crawl, so the whole plane thing was a bit of a challenge. Overall, she did really well and was a trooper through the entire trip. My mom and Aunt Susan came along on the trip to help out with Reece, and if it weren't for them I wouldn't have made it out of NYC with any sanity. Thank you so much for your help!!!
We were able to do some amazing things while we were in NYC. One of the highlights was seeing Ben in American Idiot on Broadway. Totally and completely blew me away! Ben truly belongs on stage and Matt and I were so happy to see him perform! I also got to visit with Big Carlene, a relative, who is a remarkable woman. It was my second visit with her in my lifetime, and both times I have spoken with her have been some of the most memorable moments I've ever had.
We then left the big city for the Hamptons (please say it in your most lofty and uppity voice).  The Hamptons were beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better weather. The rehearsal dinner on the beach was perfect and Aunt Jan did SO much to make sure everyone was taken care of while we were there. We appreciate her efforts so much! The wedding was an even more perfect and the whole evening was so wonderful! Thank you Ben and Kat for including us on your special day!
Beware of all the pictures I am about to post!
